Improving Long Term Bridge Performance, Innovative and Sustainable Design Techniques & Various Delivery and Funding Models

Our nation’s bridges are deteriorating. Corrosion, environmental stress and an increase in traffic volume due to ever-growing numbers of commuters are all taking their toll on these aging infrastructures, used by millions daily.

On the East Coast, a large number of bridges were built in the 1950s and 1960s with a projected life span of 50 to 60 years. With reductions in budgets and the overwhelming majority of these bridges in need of retrofitting and repairs, the Department of Transportation (DOT) has had to prioritize projects by need and cost.

The 4th Annual Bridges Summit is a must attend for general contractors, construction companies, engineers, project managers and anyone else seeking to secure contracts, network with the DOT, and learn the latest strategies for effective architecture and innovative designs. The expert panel of speakers will discuss best practices for retrofitting existing structures as well as the latest techniques in design and construction of new bridges.

Key Features of Attending:

  • Gain valuable insights into new technologies, materials and accelerated construction methods
  • Learn innovative designs for cable supported bridges
  • Utilize latest technology to cut costs and exceed project delivery expectations
  • Overview of P3 development in different states
  • Explore the possibilities to extend the lifespan of your bridge by choosing the right materials and adaptable designs
  • Case studies and best practices from recent P3 and Design Build projects
  • Network with DOTs, Designers, Engineers, Consultants and Solution Providers
This conference is one of the best ways to learn from one another. I look forward to the interaction with the participants to not only teach, but to also learn.
